Two of his wives he divorced and two of them he had executed. Elizabeth Fry, born today in 1780, was an English prison and social reformer, and a prime example of what Taureans can achieve with their natural determination, focus and commitment to a plan. Fry was the driving force behind new legislation to make the treatment of prisoners in England more humane. She also established a "nightly shelter" for the homeless in London after seeing a young child living on the streets in winter. In Brighton she also started a visiting society, where volunteers visited the poor at home, to provide them with help and comfort. This society was later set up in other towns across Britain.
