People celebrating today share their birthday with a couple of notorious names from history. Guy Fawkes was born today in 1570; Fawkes cemented his name in history when he was among the group who plotted to blow up the Houses of Parliament while King James I was inside. He was in charge of the gunpowder because of his experience as a solider; as Aries have fiery personalities maybe this is what drew him to things that exploded!
Butch Cassidy was also born today, the infamous train and bank robber. Aries often draw people to them because of their dynamic and magnetic personality, this quality makes them good leaders, so it was no wonder that Cassidy was the leader of the “Hole in the Wall Gang”.
Samuel Beckett, the Irish writer and poet and the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1969 was also born today. His works offer a somewhat austere look at human culture, perhaps because of his Aries tendencies towards impatience and irritability.
Jon Stone co-creator of Sesame Street was also born today. I have mentioned a few times that Aries have a real sense of fun and a playful spirit, which is clearly evident in this classic loved by children. Oh ok, by adults too!
Our last, but certainly not least, birthday boy is singer Al Green. He is best known for his No.1 song, 'Let's Stay Together' and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as having been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from BET.
