Thomas HardyThomas HardyGeminis are normally optimistic and entertaining people but the novels of the famous author Thomas Hardy, born today in 1840, did not show life in a happy go lucky way. Most of Hardy's books showed his characters struggling against their circumstances, passions and tragedy in the semi-fictional English county of Wessex.

Geminis can get bored easily.  While this may lead many to perceive them as being fickle, they are actually just excited to explore new and different parts of life.  Perhaps this Gemini tendency may be why Jon Culshaw, born today in 1968, choose a career as an impressionist. Why be tied down to one identity when you can voice around forty famous TV characters. Some of his best known impressions are of ex-Prime Minster Tony Blair, rock star Ozzy Osbourne and ex-President of the United States George W Bush.

Showing the darker side of a twin-like personality is Peter Sutcliffe, born today in 1946, Sutcliffe was dubbed "The Yorkshire Ripper" after he was found guilty of killing thirteen women and attacking others in 1981. Sutcliffe was diagnosed by four psychiatrists as a paranoid schizophrenic and is currently serving life imprisonment in Broadmoor Hospital.   Don't worry though, most Gemini 'double' personalities are simply an expression of their free and complex characters.
