In 1997 a judgement against Simpson for the wrongful deaths of Nicole and Goldman was awarded in a civil court by a jury.

American actor Fred Savage, best known for the TV series The Wonder Years, was also born today in 1976. The writer Barbara Cartland, born today in 1901, was probably most well known for her romantic fiction although she also health and cookery books and stage plays. She used her Cancer productivity to write a huge number of books.
